Mirror Show Management (MSM) has been named a Democrat & Chronicle Rochester Top Workplace for the fifth consecutive year, and is one of 12 organizations that have made the list since the award’s inception.
(Rochester, NY) (March, 2018) – The Democrat and Chronicle partners with Energage, the employee research and consulting firm, to determine the Rochester area’s Top Workplaces. The confidential survey gives employees the opportunity to rank their employer on 24 factors covering seven areas.
“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “It’s an achievement organizations have to work for.”
And while this is a huge honor, the results of the survey may be of greater value to organizations than the actual ranking, as answers to the survey provides businesses with a unique understanding of their strengths and opportunities in employee recruitment and retention.
Says Donna Shultz, MSM President “Of the many honors we’ve received over the years, this continues to be the one I value most, because it means we have succeeded in creating an environment that employees love coming to each day.”
In all, 92 organizations agreed to take the survey, the most ever in the history of the program and 60 Rochester-area employers scored well enough to earn recognition on the Top Workplaces list. The winners were announced at an awards ceremony on March 28.
